Real estate sales are jumping image

A total of 59,475 real estate transactions were concluded in the country for the third quarter of 2013, according to data from the Registry Agency. A report by Profit.bg shows that this is the fifth consecutive quarterly growth compared to the previous year's quarter. For the period July 1 - September 30, 2012, 58,643 property purchases / sales were reported in Bulgaria, which is an increase of 1.42 percent. Thus, since the beginning of the year the number of transactions is already 159,365 against 148,384 for the first nine months of 2012. The growth is 7.40 percent. Sofia remains number 1 in real estate transactions with its 4,536 sales. Followed by Plovdiv, Varna and Nessebar, where there are over 2000 entries. There are over 1000 transactions in 7 more districts - Burgas, Pleven, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Pazardzhik, Sliven and Dobrich. Since the beginning of the year, in addition to Sofia, Plovdiv and Burgas, Pleven and Nessebar are in the lead. Despite another quarter of growth in the number of transactions, prices remain at current levels and even mark a minimal decline. NSI data show that in the second quarter of 2013 compared to the previous one a decrease in prices was registered in 18 of the district cities and in Sofia district, as it was more significant in Kyustendil - by 2.4%, Haskovo - by 2.0% and Lovech - with 1.7%. In the other 9 regional cities an increase in prices was registered. The latest up-to-date data on the real estate market are expected from the NSI on October 23 (Wednesday), as well as next week from the larger agencies in the country. The real estate market is traditionally entering its strongest quarter. We remind you that in 2012, in the months from October to December, 69,767 transactions were made compared to 65,460 and 61,541 for the fourth quarter of 2011 and 2010, respectively.
