When a child with a severe disability is born, in 99% of cases his mother remains with him. She said goodbye to her previous life as she knew it, and often parted ways with her profession and devoted herself entirely to caring for the child. In a significant proportion of cases, the father leaves the family unable to bear the burden and leaves the mother to be the sole parent in the family. That is why we, the Bulgarian Association of Insurance Brokers - BABB, together with the Mother Mila Foundation are launching a campaign for medical examinations of mothers of children with disabilities in order to prevent serious illnesses that may deprive these parents of the opportunity to care. for your children.
The cause, which aims to support parents of children with disabilities and to conduct the first large-scale action to prevent the health of parents caring for children with special needs, will be absolutely impossible without the financial support of the Bulgarian Association of Insurance Brokers - BACB, which fully provide the means for the examinations. The implementation of the examinations will begin in January 2018 and we hope that this will be just the beginning of a permanent initiative that will help mothers of children with disabilities to stay healthy with their children.
