Today in Vasil Levski High School was held the Road Safety Olympiad "Become safe on the road with I&G Brokers". The initiative is organized by the Road Safety Institute, together with the Municipality of Rousse and RWU-Rousse. The event was attended by the Mayor of Ruse Municipality Plamen Stoilov, the Head of Rousse-Rousse Rositsa Georgieva, the Deputy Mayor for Utilities Natalia Krasteva, Rumen Krastev - Senior Inspector in the Transport Department, the director of the host school "Vasil Levski" Galin Ganchev and many pedagogues and principals of Ruse schools. At the beginning, Mayor Plamen Stoilov congratulated all the children for the activity and encouraged them to be more careful when they are on the street. More than 300 students from 5th, 6th and 7th grades of Nikola Obretenov Primary School, Vasil Levski Secondary School, Ivan Vazov Primary School, Otets Paisiy Primary School and Angel Kanchev Primary School took part in the Olympiad. The children were divided into two teams and within an hour answered questions related to road safety. The Road Safety Institute has initiated a Road Safety Olympiad with Become Safe on the Road with I&G Brokers. It started for the first time in November 2018 in the capital's 19th Sofia University. The aim of the initiative is to cover the maximum number of educational institutions in the country.
