40% of the cars in our country are over 20 years old, and another 40% are between 10 and 20 years old. 15% are 10 years old and younger, and the new ones - up to 5 years old are only 5%. The average age of the car fleet in Bulgaria is 19 years. For comparison, in the EU it is 9 years. The Bulgarian gives between BGN 5,000 and 7,000 for a second-hand car.
