Despite the instability of the cryptocurrency market, three of the largest insurance companies in the global insurance market have launched the offer of insurance against theft of cryptocurrencies - XL Catlin, Chubb and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance. The annual coverage of crimes against cryptocurrencies is up to $ 25 million.
So far, only three insurance companies offer this type of insurance, however, other insurers are exploring insurance options for companies trading in digital currencies.
