How is it achieved? The Danish machine ST1 weighs over 1350 kg. and is powered by a 7-liter V-8 engine. Its power is a phenomenal 1250 horsepower, achieved with a unique combination of compressor and turbocharger. The model has been produced since 2009, making only three cars a year. Their total number will reach only 15 pieces.

6. Pagani Huayra

How is it achieved? The Italian company Pagani used in its Huayra a 6-liter V-12 with twin turbochargers developed by the AMG unit of Mercedes-Benz. So the car has 720 horsepower to reach these speeds.

7. Gumpert Apollo

How is it achieved? The German carmaker Gumpert used a 4.2-liter Audi V-8 turbo engine with 640 horsepower here. Apollo itself weighs only 1 ton.

8. Noble M600

How is it achieved? The M600, built in England, reaches top speed with the same 4.4-liter Yamaha V-8 engine that Volvo uses in its S80 sedan. However, two turbochargers have been added here, which increase the power to 650 horsepower, and the carbon materials used in the body reduce the weight of the car to 1.2 tons.

9. Lamborghini Veneno

How is it achieved? Based on the Lamborghini Aventador, the new Veneno outperforms the previous model with its 740 horsepower and 6.5-liter V-12 engine. Lamborghini said it would produce only three units of the ultra-luxury model.

10. Ferrari LaFerrari

How is it achieved? The only hybrid car on this list, the LaFerrari combines a 6.3-liter V-12 engine with 786 horsepower and an electric motor with another 163 horsepower. The model was presented at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
