The world's largest tourist community TripAdvisor has named the Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Pontresina, Switzerland the best hotel in the world.
The ranking was done by voting, and the ratings were based on service, quality and price of the service.
Special attention is paid to the attitude of the staff, luxury and romance in the hotel. About 2 million users took part in the ranking.
The tourist site writes about this year's king of hotels: "Few hotels so skillfully combine retro charm and modern amenities. The Cronenhof's buildings are as impressive as the surrounding picturesque landscape of the Swiss Alps.
7123 sites took part in the battle, with the most participants from Italy - 152, from Great Britain - 145, and the USA and France with 144. Bulgaria was represented by 25 hotels, but in a different ranking. "Modus" in Varna is awarded the title of the best hotel in the country, as the tourist portal describes it with the following words - "modern, fun and fresh." After him is "Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena" in Bansko, and in third place is "Majestic Hotel and Residence" in Sunny Beach.
