Since the beginning of the new 2018. Seven special devices - gas analyzers - were used to check the technical condition of the exhaust gases of the cars. If the gas analyzers show pollution above the permissible norms, the car will not be registered. Cars will be stopped.

The Traffic Police will also draw up acts for violating the cars, which violate the eco-standards, and the car will be stopped. The car will be able to move again after a new inspection by the Traffic Police for harmful emissions.

We remind you of the necessary documents for car registration:

  • Written application for registration (there are forms on the spot, they are given ex officio);
  • Documents for acquisition of ownership with data for identification of the vehicle (the contract and other documents that we have formed with the seller at the conclusion of the transaction);
  • Identity document (eg ID card);
  • Document for concluded Civil Liability Insurance;
  • Customs document for formalized import on the territory of the European Union (EU), if the vehicle is imported from a country outside the EU;
  • Documents in connection with the product tax (called ecotax), prepared and provided to me by the seller of the vehicle at the conclusion of the transaction.
