Violators of the road will pay more for "Civil Liability". Drivers with more violations on the way to pay more expensive "Civil Liability", plan to introduce insurance companies in our country. Calculations show that when the new rules come into force, the price increase for offending drivers will be between 25 and 200%.
The amount that the driver will have to pay will depend on whether he caused the accident or not. The number of road accidents in the last year will be monitored, as well as where they occurred - at home or abroad. Higher amounts for Civil Liability will be paid by drivers with little experience behind the wheel, as well as those who drive in large cities, where the risk of accidents is higher, say the industry.
For young drivers, insurance will also cost more - by between 50 and 100%. Thus, for example, in one of the companies for drivers up to 20 years, the policy can reach 600 leva, Nova TV reported. It is also envisaged to have a higher mark-up for drivers who drive mainly abroad, as well as for owners of rental cars, taxis and training cars.
There is no specific deadline for the introduction of the planned measures, the industry said, but clarified that this will not happen from the New Year. If there is still a rise in prices from January 1, it will be up to 5%, insurance companies predict. Thus, for middle-class cars - up to 1800 cubic meters, the price will be around 180 leva. Despite the huge damage from natural disasters that insurers have covered this year, no serious price jump is expected for the helmet.
