A rescue helicopter landed emergency on the southern beach in the resort "Sunny Beach. This was part of the demonstrations organized by the Bulgarian Red Cross, in which teams of the Bulgarian Red Cross for water rescue, teams of the Active Security Club Association and a helicopter of Heli Air SAU AD took part.

The aim was to show in practice a quick response to help in extreme situations to save lives.

The demonstrations are part of the Active Care project of the Active Security Club Association. The project supports the activities of the state in the field of first aid and medical care through actions of medical teams according to the European model.

Part of the large-scale project, a joint initiative with the Bulgarian Red Cross, is the product Active Care. It is unique for the Bulgarian insurance market and is offered by Lev Ins Insurance Company AD. Active care provides the insured with air and ground transport assistance, as well as first aid in case of an accident and / or acute illness. First aid was provided at the scene by paramedics at ground assistance and by a medical team at air assistance.
The insurance coverage is on two levels, at the client's choice:
Basic coverage of the Insured is provided with assistance in case of an accident as a result of a traffic accident;
Extended coverage of the Insured provides assistance in the event of an accident of any kind, as well as in case of acute illness.
Active care provides opportunities for adequate assistance thanks to the good coordination and joint activities of teams of doctors, paramedics, hospitals and specially trained taxi drivers. The activity is managed by a 24-hour call center for emergencies 0800 10 200, which helps the fast and professional actions of the various units in the project, according to the specifics of each case.
