Today, Sofia Municipality will repatriate old, obsolete motor vehicles from the capital's streets, squares and sidewalks. The action is following an order of the regional mayors and will be held according to a pre-prepared schedule, Dnevnik reported.
Employees of the Sofia Inspectorate, the police and the companies that have concluded contracts with the Sofia Municipality for carrying out the activity will take part in the repatriation.
According to unofficial information, more than 10,000 cars without license plates and the right to drive clog not only the center, but also the districts of the capital.
In parallel, another action of the municipality is underway. Dangerous trees around the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral will be removed.
