The Traffic Police is starting to lurk whether the moving cars have taken out Civil Liability Insurance, referring to the management of the Traffic Police. Stationary cameras will shoot, but only if the car passes them at excessive speed.
The speed detection will start in about a month, after the changes in the Insurance Code came into force on January 1 this year. Thus, the traffic police will now be able to fine for the lack of the policy with an electronic slip.
The procedure will be as follows - the registration number of each car filmed for speeding will automatically go to a database showing which cars have a "Civil Liability". If not, you will receive two electronic tickets for the fine - for speed and for the policy.
For now, only two cameras installed on the Lyulin highway will be able to check absolutely every car that passes if there is a compulsory insurance. Eight of the patrols in Sofia also have cameras that will provide information on whether the car stopped for inspection has "Civil Liability".
