Congratulations drivers! Traffic police is preparing a fine

Drivers pay heavier fines for a road accident over the weekend
This is just one of the proposals made during the second round table, dedicated to the drafting of an entirely new Road Traffic Act.

"In some countries, such as Australia, fines for road traffic offenses are higher than on weekdays. Why not introduce it in our country ?! We "abuse", roughly speaking, freight transport, restricting its movement to make it more convenient and comfortable for us to drive. At the same time, however, there are drivers who allow themselves to break the law these days, "said Alexi Kesyakov, secretary of the state-public advisory commission on traffic safety.

However, how much higher they will be is still unclear. Kesyakov also offers twice as severe penalties for accidents and for drivers with companions in the car, Monitor writes. In 2013, 163 passengers were killed in accidents for which they were not to blame. Most often, these are family members who were transported by the driver of the car. This, according to experts, is extremely irresponsible. Recently, in addition to young drivers, adults have also created a problem on the road - mostly because of their delayed reactions and poorer assessment of the road situation. "Every third accident is on a turn, obviously drivers can't turn en masse," Kesyakov added. According to him, it is imperative that those who cause such an accident be sent to a refresher driving course.
